We are delighted to advise that the National Lottery Community Fund has awarded us Covid-19 Emergency Funding of £29,772 for Core Staff and Fixed Costs. This will be a huge help to us in managing the effects of the pandemic and in continuing to provide facilities and services to the local community. We have all of the relevant precautions in place and have had some excellent feedback so far. Check our Facebook to see what people had to say! Out of over 800 clubs in England we have won this prestigious award which is well deserved after so much hard work & effort over the last few years. From securing a fantastic new pitch, new floodlights, growing the club by nearly 200%, Nortonian's Mens O40's winning the National Summer championships cup, our quality coaches, record number of participants in our Hockey Heroes sessions for players aged 5-8, helping secure funding to renovate Norton Sports Complex clubhouse, close partnerships with local schools & charities to name just a small amount of our achievements from last few years.
Our contribution to hockey in the region really has been immense. Norton Hockey Club would like to thank Notts Sport & England Hockey for this fantastic Award & for you continual support, plus the amazing support we get from 'Norton Sports Charity' A massive well done everyone at Norton Hockey club you truly are an amazing hard working, family orientated & social bunch 😍😍🏑🏑 England's CLUB OF THE YEAR A BIG thank you to the volunteers from ConocoPhillips who came to help out recently.
